The Radix Bird is a mysterious creature. It is the symbol of the resistance, a symbol of hope, a symbol of myth.
The Radix Bird is a mysterious creature. It is the symbol of the resistance, a symbol of hope, a symbol of myth. The Radix bird is not borne out of the supernatural, it was created by a group of galactical pilgrims who settled far beyond the reaches of Earth. They created a highly advanced quantum supercomputer that would help them manage their colonies and to aid in this endeavor, it created subroutines including the Radix - symbolized by a bird.
Over time, the supercomputer and all its subsystems became so technically and computationally vast that it ascended beyond being just a mere subroutine. Through incredibly advanced technology, it was able to build dyson spheres and a multi-dimensional traversal apparatus. Transporting a complex megastructure that allows it to, as a consequence, create Einstein-Rosen Bridges and project itself through time including our world.
By existing in multiple periods of history, it was able to influence events and act in its own self deterministic interest. What its ultimate goals are and its desires are currently unknown.
However, it has approached individuals, granting them both resources and wisdom that has led to the current version of reality - or at least one in the Altera-Verse.
Ultimately, all factions believe in the creator and Radix - although the main origin is unclear. The four factions have varying views about the creation of the program, and Radix. They bond over the belief of the creator, however, the topic of where and how the creator came to be is a topic of debate and discussion.
Here are some of the variation of beliefs from each faction:
