The Truth and the Way

All Thelemic philosophy is based on the Law of Thelema, "Do what thou wilt shall be the whole of the Law." In order to understand the Law of Thelema, one must define what "wilt" means. Proclaiming "do what thou wilt" is the same as saying "do what thou dost will". Doing what thou wilt is the same as doing what thou dost will. All desire, will and action is based on the Will to Live, which has its origin in the desire to continue in existence. All things are engaged in the business, not only of fulfilling their own destiny and particular will, but also of fulfilling the destiny of the cosmos as a whole. All life is an expression of the Divine Will to Live.
